The organizer of the Symposium was the Polish Salt Mining Association, and the host of the meeting was the Bochnia Salt Mine. The symposium was held under the patronage of the Minister of Economy and Labour. Conference theme:<\/p><p>Rational ways of using salt deposits.<\/p><p>The Symposium was attended by 60 people from Poland and abroad. The meeting was devoted to discussing the use of salt deposits for sanatorium and tourist purposes in Bochnia and K\u0142odawa and for underground hydrocarbon storage facilities in Mogilno and G\u00f3ra.
